About Valerie Morrison
My name is Valerie and I'm the owner/photographer of Valerie Morrison Photography.
My love of photography began at the age of 17 when I was given a Canon AE-1 as a graduation present. I knew nothing about photography or how to work my camera so I read everything I could find on photography and taught myself.
Photography came naturally to me and as a person of few words, it spoke to me. It allowed me to visually reveal and share my thoughts with others better than I could put into words.
I enjoy photographing almost everything, though I am focused on portraits and pet photography. I coined the phrase: bringing the ordinary to life when asked to describe my photography.
